    A few things:
    1. Was that really tim hucking that cliff? If so, shit hot
    2. How much was that coin worth? Those kids with the bikes were really going for it.
    3. Were you drinking koenigsbier during that episode?
    4. Spread eagles will always be cool.

  2. Jools April 24th, 2008 at 9:52 pm

    4. NO THEY WILL NOT

  3. the same anonymous as above April 24th, 2008 at 10:22 pm

you’re just jealous that you can’t do them on you’re silly boards.

  4. the same Jools as before April 24th, 2008 at 10:32 pm

If I could only have one trick for the rest of my life and I had to choose between a spread eagle and a stiffy, I’d go for a stiffy.

  5. Ingo April 24th, 2008 at 11:06 pm

hey snowfix, great episode again….sad to see the season go..can’t wait for next one!

  12. Greg April 28th, 2008 at 9:26 am

With regards to the current style poll running at the moment. Anyone that chooses style over skill is a total douche fag. 2 phrases come to mind for these people. all the gear no idea or all the kit but really shit

  13. cfe April 28th, 2008 at 11:33 am

sad to see the end of the season guys! you will be missed!!!
you should come and see us at chill factor e in manchester in the summer and film an episode or 2 there. freestyle night every saturday and city jam once a month. check it!

  14. Jake April 28th, 2008 at 1:13 pm

spreads are not cool, i ski but i’ll have to agree with jools on this one.

    love the style police!!!!

    catch you soon

and also, GREG, i choose style, because i think makin tricks look stylish and feel clean is a skill, and skill itself is just to land something, style is to do a decent job of it. if you asked me i would say it was better to do something easy really cleanly and well than to do something quite skillful in an ugly way.

    ciao

  15. Greg April 28th, 2008 at 2:16 pm

Well i was taking it to mean style as in looking gangsta etc etc. I agree tricks can look shit if done badly but i wouldn’t say it is really style that makes that. That sort of style surely comes under skill. Snowfix, please make your polls less ambiguous

  16. Rob April 28th, 2008 at 5:43 pm

Yep, thats how i interpretted the style thing, would much rather look like i nailed somethin really stylishly, than doing a really ugly looking 900, some people can do that and make it look shit…would much rather a nice floaty 360 :)
But yeh you could argue that they meant style to do with clothes and gear..style to me in skiing terms is how you actually look when you ski whether it be comfortably or really uneasy, not how you dress…thats fashion :S?

  17. Greg April 28th, 2008 at 6:41 pm

I suppose you’ve got a point with the fashion thing but surely if you’ve got “all the skills” you’d look stylish

  18. Rob April 29th, 2008 at 1:16 am

    Heheh true…
If you had all the skills youd be stylish, fashionable, amazing at skiing and pretty much everythin else if we look that deep in to it :D

    I miss the snow :(

  19. Will April 29th, 2008 at 5:31 am

    I love the show!

I’m english but i now live in New Zealand…

Yeah, so come out here and carry on the podcast through our winter.

    Cya!

  20. Will April 29th, 2008 at 5:33 am

    And just to add…

i agree with greg about the poll…

and jooles about the spread eagle.

  21. Jools April 29th, 2008 at 3:05 pm

I’d just like to keep you guys updated: Chamonix’s just had 30cm of fresh HAHAHAHA!!!!!

  22. Rob April 29th, 2008 at 6:48 pm

Id just like to keep jools updated…

    I hate you :|

England has probably just had 30cm of fresh…rainwater.

  23. Ogren April 30th, 2008 at 3:14 am

I hate you Jools… (not really)
But great season to all the snowfix crew
A really nicely done season with good footage.
I will miss all of you this summer !!!

PS- i am playing paintball over here now, is it big over there in Europe???

  24. anthony May 1st, 2008 at 6:37 pm

Hi guys. firstly i wanna thak you for all of your shows. they have helped me cope with some very boring flights airports. without you holidays would not be as enjoyable. but not on to my real reason for writing. I really wanna do a season. what is your reason for choosing Morzine? as a snowboarder i am torn between morzine and chamonix, not because i have been to either but i have heard great stuff about both. further more i might even make the leap to moving there for good. i am a roofer and general builder and would love to work the off season and then just try and make ends meet during the winter. any views from you folks or the fans would be very much appreciated.

    cheers

    Anthony

  25. Mattia May 1st, 2008 at 6:44 pm

Hey Anthony, here’s the word in brief-
Morzine ubermassive ski area with loads of rad parks, but Chamonix world renowed for some of the gnarliest off piste ever.
Morzine has a bit more of a younger crowd and is a wee bit more party town than Cham.
Both really wicked places to live, ask Jonno and Jools they live in Cham!!!!

  26. anthony May 1st, 2008 at 7:33 pm

thanks for that.. from what i have been told Cham is a better place to live all year. as a tradesman i wana keep busy. The way i see it , as a single guy with no commitments if i am gonna do a season i might as well stay and try and make a go of it there and be part of the community. make a contribution you might say. i do love england and my home town of exmouth but, well just but really.. it will always be here if it does not work out over in france

  27. Jools May 2nd, 2008 at 11:13 am

Hey Anthony, you heard right, Cham lives all year round, I think Morzine tends to die a little when everyone goes home. In fact, Cham is busier in the summer than in the winter! Loadsa mountain biking and climbing, etc… As a roofer/builder, I can pretty much guarantee that you will find work in Cham as they are constantly building or renovating chalets for rich Brits or Russians :-) And there’s a massive sense of community here as a lot of winter people stay in the summer, so you don’t really have to say your goodbyes to everyone comes June, quite the opposite. The end of winter means barbecues, hanging out, good times… But then it is a bit of an older crowd here, no park rats, no steeze, just proper mountain lovers. Mostly male, too… Hope that helped XXX

  28. Anonymous May 2nd, 2008 at 11:39 am

Morzine is damn busy in the summer as well what with it being the most well known area in Europe for downhill mountain biking. It definitely doesn’t die out in summer, maybe in the inbetween months but thst not very long.

  29. anthony May 5th, 2008 at 1:55 pm

thanks for that Jools. Everything you said about Cham sounds just what i am looking for.. except being mostly males.. but i guess thats why it gets your thumbs up..lol. and as for park rats , whenever i hear that all i can think about is jonnos vids. first time i saw them i cried with laughter. Well i am off to Nz for a 5 week break in July but when i return i am gonna pop over to Cham and see if i can sort myself out with any work. Can anyone recommend anywhere i should start to look. I would be [;anning on bringing my van and tools/ladders over so self employed or employed would be cool with me.
