Snowfix #44

November 7th, 2007

To start our footage from the London Ski and Snowboard Show 2007 we interviewed top British freeskier Paddy Graham, Scottish schoolboy super star Murray Buchan & freakishly skilled newcomer Joe Murrall. Including:

  • Clips of Joe’s own trick, the ‘Pistol flip’
  • The big Snowfix & Ski-show snowsports quiz
  • An introduction and behind the scenes insight into filming a Nike ACG Sweetspot

All rounded off with the very first of our Nike ACG Sweetspots; Paddy Graham’s halfpipe night shoot.

Sick. The winner of the quiz has obviously not discovered the brain cell stealing qualities of alcohol. That’s my excuse for getting only 1 question. Sic night shoot BTW.

    Hey guys,
This is Timmy (from Snowfix), don’t worry all the normal episode format and presenters will return for the winter season! We just decided that you guys deserved a pre-season warm up after such a slow summer!
Loads of fun in store, so just make sure you keep watching this space!!!

Hey, Im matt, I’m 16 and Im from sutton, surrey,UK
Im a freestyle skier and have been aching to learn a switch 360, It would be cool if you could show a trick tip on this - Also I’d like to know how the pro’s get so much rotation when doing trick (whats the technique). Finally how do you set up for an X grab in the air.
-I know its a lot to ask, but I would be extremely greatful if you could help me!
If you already have this stuff on the website could you direct me to them please, cause it is difficult to find. It would be cool if tricktip could be separate from the episodes, or still included, but also found separately on the website.

Val Thorens has an awesome snowpark this with and airbag to practice tricks an s-rail, big jumps and lots of other stuff - this is a new snow park due to the large amount of snow fall.
    Please email back
