Happy Valentine’s Day Jools, and guys, but mostly Jools! I love the show, especially the expo coverage of new equiptment and all the video sneak peeks. Nice job on the map ,too.

    Powder for everyone,
Je Te Pisse A La Raie
    Michael

Hey guys- Yesterday, here in Pennsylvania we got tons of snow which was great but no one wanted to drive to the closest resort because of the shitty road conditions. So we built a rail in my friends backyard and built a jump and all. We’re not pros or anything but we filmed 2 runs of each of us. Do you think you’d wanna see it? Keep up the great show, my friends and I are hooked. I love all the videos, they are sick!

  3. Andy February 14th, 2007 at 11:37 pm

Hiya, Norcious show as usual. So what does Je Te Pisse A La Raie actually mean cos according to the google translation tool thing, it means: I p*ss you with the line. Now this could just been me, but that doesn’t sound all that alluring!

    Andy

  4. Brady February 15th, 2007 at 12:35 pm

Hey no new snow in the NW of USA. I think I found Tim’s lost twin. His name’s Matt Hutton from Washington State, USA. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=3811862

  5. Jools February 15th, 2007 at 2:05 pm

Nauseous show again guys, shame about the weather in Chamonix though, was looking forward to that :-( like the sound of DC Snowoard boots, but not so sure about those ones badgermup mentioned that look like sneakers :-S but i did like the self binding bindings, as my mates say i take forever to bind in. might have to get some of those….

  12. Francesca February 16th, 2007 at 1:10 pm

  14. Devin Miller February 17th, 2007 at 2:52 am

hey guys, i was wondering if u might be able 2 do a review of waxes. which waxes are best for what.

    take it easy
    keep up the good work

  15. michael February 17th, 2007 at 6:07 am

I agree… Adidas should stick to making what theyre good at - old school chuks. I also agree that some of those new 80’s inspired skis and boards are a little too much… if anyone wants some retro looking shit Im sure my parents wouldnt mind parting with their original 70’s and 80’s gear in their garage. Neon. Who woulda thunk it could, or should, make a comeback.

    Michael

  16. brian February 18th, 2007 at 12:38 am

  23. james in england February 20th, 2007 at 2:17 pm

I’ve been watching since podcast 1. i thought you guys were starting to suck and had sold out. But you’ve redeemed yourselves a bit though just recently with some actual snow footage.

Still way too much snowboarding for the fashion victims. Please stop taking the piss out of the chubby ski-boy just coz he’s a skier. I’m a skier, we were here first with our straight planks and our all-in-ones. (But we’ll let you have a go) . Each to their own. Jools just looks bored off her t1t5 when there’s a mention of skiing. So less of the taking one at each other purlease and a bit more tolerance for each other’s passion.

Maybe you should swap sports for a day and get some footage of each other…?

    Loved the language course.

    Peace and powder to you

  24. Jools February 20th, 2007 at 4:26 pm

hahhahaha James said Tim was chubby ahahahahah!!!

  25. alex February 20th, 2007 at 4:35 pm

you know i waas promised hot pants by this show twice and i never got to see someone in hot pants on the show… tim ir charlie should wear hotpants cuz it would be funny and jools too

  26. Timmy February 20th, 2007 at 6:46 pm

Thats ok James, lots of guys are intimidated by men are bigger than them ;-)

Your bang right though! The ski vs board chat can get a bit boring!

P.s. It looks like Alex has guessed an event on this weeks show! Thats right there is more ’ski-boy’ undressing on its way. Lock up your daughters!

  27. Christian February 20th, 2007 at 7:04 pm

hey dudes. grew up in Dubai so just new at snowboarding. dubai built an indoor snowdome which was awesome to learn on. spent 2 hours nearly every evening there for 3 months so got quite comfortable on a board at least to the point of doing rails, rainbows and kickers. heading to les menuires, 3 valleys, france this sunday. only place going at late notice for under 400 quid everything included (flights, half board accom, ski pass) for a week. got my own burton board ill be taking with me, wouldnt leave home without it and going with a mate (who has never boarded - think ill just push him down a black slope for an advanced learning course :-D )

found your site this morning and all ive done since, is download all your podcasts available and watch them. they are awesome. love the tricks, tips and “top 3 places …” and its nice to have it presented by true snow junkies.

as for the area im going, can you tell me anything about it, nightlife especially? I hear Val Thorens just up the mountain is awesome. although i really would just spend 7 days camped out on the slopes!

ive got cool xrays of when i fractured my spine and skull coming of my mtocross bike last year but it aint snowboarding.. ill see if i get any new ones after this holiday :)

love your show. say hi to the sexy lass in the middle.

BRING ON THE POWDER AND PARK!

  28. Christian February 20th, 2007 at 7:12 pm

ow yeah, what does “Je te pisse a la raie” as mentioned by Jools, translate to? because online translation translates to “I piss you has the line” not a very appealing chat up line, but then ive never done high altitude cold weather chatting-up :)

  29. michael February 21st, 2007 at 12:08 am

Can you guys include a How-To of sorts dealing with prepping a rail and concrete walls for inner city park boarding in a near-future episode of Snofix? We have a decent ammount of snow here in Coulmbus, Ohio right now, and the downtown area is pretty much deserted after 6 pm-sooo I wanna try some new things while the snow is still here- hopefully get some good footage for you all while we’re at it.

    Thank you,
    Michael

  30. Petey February 21st, 2007 at 2:07 am

i wonder what would happen if u put this guy on a pair of skis or a snowboard…
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO6VY3C6PNw
    amazing!

  31. Zach February 21st, 2007 at 6:09 am

You guys are getting really good at this podcast thing. I have watched from the 1st to the 32nd episode and I enjoy them all. Kinda nice when you added Jools…it brought a new swing on things and built variety. Keep the shows coming dudes.

PS: please answer quickly….what does “Je Te pisse a la raie” mean.

  32. Timmy February 21st, 2007 at 1:19 pm

Im sure you can figure it out! Here is a clue: Its very rude and if you said it to a girl, you would be lucky to walk away with just a slap!

  33. Rowdy February 21st, 2007 at 2:51 pm

Whatever happened to Negative Gravity? Is that company still going?

  34. alex February 21st, 2007 at 4:00 pm

So…. Jools told us to tell that to girls so we can get slapped? Thanks Jools!

  35. Timmy February 21st, 2007 at 4:14 pm

Negative Gravity Films is our company that produces the show Snowfix with the Extreme Sports channel. We don’t really do the DVDs anymore, occasionally the odd corporate one.
The downside to producing DVDs for families etc. was that ever blue sky powder day we would be stuck on green slope recording some kids first ever ski lesson!
    Snowfix is much more fun!

  36. rich February 21st, 2007 at 4:21 pm
